Yesterday, some friends came over from San Francisco. Sure, they have wild animals around, but not easily found in the neighborhoods, outside of birds and small rodents. I live next to a state park, so heading up the hill is easy. We started walking around 3:30pm, so there wasn’t much sunlight left. We managed to see some nice views of San Pablo Bay, Mt. Tamalpais, Peacock Gap (and its golf course), and about 9 deer and a dozen wild turkeys. No rabbits, raccoons, coyotes, or mountain lions. If we had more time (and light), we could have taken another path, perhaps to the high peak on the hill for a near 360-degree view of the city.
We didn’t see the frog in the garage today.
